Join Colonel G. A. Stratton USMC (Ret) as he explores how the Federal’s squandered one of its best opportunities to capture the defenseless city of Richmond and the vulnerable Confederate government in the Spring of 1864. This five-dimensional campaign showcased how Federal and Confederate leaders used psychological warfare, intelligence / counterintelligence along with traditional calvary, naval and ground operations ending with the “Bottling-Up” of Major General Benjamin Butler’s Federal Army of the James and the maintaining Richmond in Confederate hands.  (20 ppl max)
