Explore seventeenth century medical beliefs and practices and learn the ways that medicinal herbs were used by the Powhatan Indians and the English Colonists over 400 years ago in Virginia. Discover what plants and techniques were brought with the English from home, what was already being practiced by the Powhatans, and explore the similarities and differences between their practices. Finish off the day making herbal creations to take home with you!
